Project Research and Development Timeline
 

Once you become an ElectroRally team, you will need to develop a timeline for completion of your project. To help you in planning, following is a sample timeline that we have developed based on experiences of teams who have participated in past ElectroRally competitions. This timeline is a good starting point, but we suggest that you develop a more detailed timeline.

 

Two Semesters Program

   
     

October 1

 

Organize team members and sign Student Team Contract
     

November 1

  Make list of team activities and complete vehicle design
     

December 1

 

Secure sponsorship (if desired) and procure all vehicle parts

     

February 1

 

Car should be 50% complete

     

March 1

  Team report should be submitted and car should be 90% complete
     

March 15

  Begin testing car
     

April 15

  Car testing and refinements should be complete
     

One Semester Program

   
     

January 5

  Organize team members and sign Student Team Contract
     

January 30

 

Make list of team activities and complete vehicle design

     

February 15
