RACE DAY DETAILS:

Race Teams

Races will include Standard, Experimental and Open Class.

Lunch will be provided at no charge for participants.

Each race team should bring individuals to serve as lap counters.

Race teams should bring lawn chairs.

Spectators

No concessions will be available for spectators.

Grandstand seating will not be available so spectators should bring their own lawn chair.

Garage C will open at 3:00 p.m.

5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Registration and Car Inspections

Garage C will close at 10:00 p.m.

Monday, October 6, 2008

7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Registration, Car Inspections and Practice Laps

9:00 a.m. – Drivers meeting

9:30 a.m. – Lap Counters meeting

10:00 – First Race - Standard

11:30 a.m. – Second Race - Experimental

1:00 p.m. – Third Race - Open

Awards will be at Victory Lane and will start one hour after the last race is completed.

Size:
1.5 mile tri-oval track suitable for all types of racing.

Banking:
15 degrees in the turns
10.4 degrees in the front stretch
5 degrees in the back stretch
The track pavement width is 55 feet.

Location:
The speedway is strategically located at the intersection of I-435 and I-70 in Kansas City, Kan., about 15 miles west of downtown Kansas City.
